In this study, it is aimed to create a virtual chemistry laboratory for students whose access to the chemistry laboratory is limited due to economic impossibilities, lack of knowledge and insufficient security measures. In accordance with this purpose; A literature review was made from sources such as YÖK Thesis, Google Scholar and DergiPark, observations were made in the laboratory environment, interviews were held with experts in the field of chemistry and virtual reality, and a survey was conducted with the Preparatory, 9th and 10th Grade students about the Chemistry course. Then, an educational virtual reality application consisting of four parts in total in a virtual laboratory environment, which includes the 9th grade chemistry curriculum gains of the Ministry of Education, was developed over “Unity 3D” and the application was named “Pocket Laboratory”. After the 3D models of Pocket Lab were designed using “Blender 3.0” and the sound recordings were recorded in the studio environment, all these were transferred to the Unity platform. Within the scope of the study, the developed application was applied to the 9th grade students, the main target group, and their approaches to the application were observed. It has been determined that educational materials containing new generation technologies in this style attract attention as well as support academic success.
